4.9.2 LAN Connection (Dual Connector)
There are two external RJ-45 LAN connectors. The RJ-45 connector enables connection
to an external network. To connect a LAN cable with an RJ-45 connector, please follow
the instructions below.
Step 1:
Locate the RJ-45 connectors. The location of the LAN connector is shown in
Chapter 3.
Step 2:
Align the connectors. Align the RJ-45 connector on the LAN cable with one of
the RJ-45 connectors on the KINO-PVN-D5251/D4251. See Figure 4-12.

Step 3:
Insert the LAN cable RJ-45 connector. Once aligned, gently insert the LAN
cable RJ-45 connector into the on-board RJ-45 connector.

4.9.3 Serial Device Connection
The KINO-PVN-D5251/D4251 has a single female DB-9 connector on the external
peripheral interface panel for a serial device. Follow the steps below to connect a serial
device to the KINO-PVN-D5251/D4251.
