Topic name — is a string that identifies a logical data
context. For LogicPro, this is a unique name that
identifies the resource. The actual resource is defined in
the
.DDE
file. The client application must specify a topic
name along with a service name when it attempts to
establish a conversation with a server.
•
Item name — is a string that identifies a logical data
context. Items can be any pre-defined symbolic Variable
name. The Variable name in the user Program is used by
LogicPro as the item name.
For the client, these names are key for establishing a
conversation and receiving data from a server.
Installation
The LogicPro DDE Server is automatically installed at the
same time LogicPro is installed.
Starting the LogicPro DDE Application
To start the LogicPro DDE application:

Click the start button on the Windows task bar.

Programs
.
3.
Select
Logicpro
.
4.
Select
DDE Server
.
Configuration
Before you can open a topic, you must configure the LogicPro
DDE Server. The major steps in this process are:

Create LogicPro DDE Server

Open the Server
•
Configure the Server
To configure the LogicPro DDE Server:
