Configurations that are saved for downloading (.dmp files) to devices may be viewed with
the Report Generator in Offline State. Right click Offline and then click Open. Select the
configuration file that has the desired data. When the Offline device loads the data, then
click Generate Report to view and to print the data with your Web browser.
16.2 Communication Error Log

Occasionally, Foundation fieldbus will report communication errors. For example, if there is
a loose or intermittent connection between the fieldbus segment the NI-FBUS card
interface then communication errors may occur. ValveNavi pops up a warning dialog. The
first error requires acknowledgement (click OK to close) and following errors are recorded
in the communication errors text box shown in Figure 16.3. The error log can be saved to a
text file using the following steps.
