Mounting Sander

Once you have confirmed that your machine is

running properly, mount it to a workbench. The

strongest mounting option is a "Through Mount"

where holes are drilled all the way through the

workbench, and hex bolts, washers, and lock

nuts are used to secure the sander to the work-

bench. Another option for mounting is a “Direct

Mount” where the machine is simply secured to

the workbench with a lag screw.

Note: To reduce vibration when operating, keep

the rubber cushion included with your sander

between the machine base and the workbench.

Dust Collection

To connect a dust collection hose:

1. Install a 2” dust hose from a dust collection

system over each dust port, and secure them in

place with a 2” hose clamp.

2. Tug the hoses to make sure they do not

come off.

CAUTION

DO NOT operate this sander without

an adequate dust collection system. This

sander creates substantial amounts of wood

dust while operating. Failure to use a dust col-

lection system can result in short and long-term

respiratory illness.
