Validating storage

Validate storage profile

Syntax

hpsp_spt -vs

hpsp_spt --validateStorage

Description

The --validateStorage command validates the storage configuration against the profile used
for configuring the storage. If the storage is not configured with any of the supported profiles, then
the validation of the configured storage fails with the appropriate error.

The validation scenarios include validating the configuration related to the number of spares,
drives, vdisks, volumes, RAID-level, host-access, and volume health

Example 16 Validate storage profile

# hpsp_spt -vs -ctrlIp 10.20.12.101 -usr manage -pwd \!manage
Validating with : 9320-SFF-EXP-300GB, 9320-SFF-STARTER-300GB

........
Valid Storage Configuration with profile: 9320-SFF-EXP-300GB, 9320-SFF-STARTER-300GB
