Create the new reports and chart profiles (if required). Charts and user defined reports created
for the replaced controller is not retained.
4.
Export the P6000 PA data. The controller serial number is printed according to the new serial
number for the data that is collected before the controller replacement.
5.
Edit the user defined report created before the controller replacement. However, the data of
the replaced controller is not retained in the edited report.

For error messages other than those described in the above sections, do the following:
1.
Retry the task at least once. Click the corresponding node in the Navigation pane and browse
to the respective location in the Content pane to retry the task.

Setup and configuration
This section provides the setup and configuration related error messages and resolutions. If the
issues are not resolved, see
“Contacting HP support” (page 156)
.
Error message: Unable to communicate with the selected storage system
Explanation/Resolution: The selected storage system is not available as the HP P6000 Command
View instance that is managing the selected storage system might not be accessible.
Resolve the above mentioned and retry the task.
Error message: Unable to discover the storage system, please ensure that at least one HP P6000
Performance Data Collector instance having access to the storage system is configured. Refer to
the HP P6000 Performance Advisor user guide for more information.
Explanation/Resolution: Only those storage systems visible through the discovered HP P6000
Command View and accessible through at least one HP P6000 Performance Data Collector instance
can be added for monitoring in HP P6000 Performance Advisor. So, ensure that the HP P6000
Performance Data Collector instance that is accessing the storage system you want to add is
accessible and HP P6000 Performance Advisor instance is able to communicate with that instance.

Error message: Selected storage systems might not be monitored by HP P6000 Performance Advisor.
To add the storage systems to the monitored list, refer to HP P6000 Performance Advisor user
guide.
Explanation/Resolution: The selected storage system might not be added for monitoring in the HP
P6000 Performance Advisor instance.
