3 Performing XP Remote Web Console Operations
You can perform the following types of operations on the XP Remote Web Console:
• Launching the desired option (see section 3-1-3 )
• Editing the user account list (see section 3-4 )
• Setting XP Remote Web Console environment parameters (see section 3-4 )
• Viewing the XP Remote Web Console information, and changing the password (see section 3-5 )
• Downloading XP Remote Web Console trace files using FD Dump Tool (see section 3-6 )
3-1 XP Remote Web Console Main Pane
3-1-1 Identity Tab on the XP Remote Web Console Main Pane
The XP Remote Web Console main pane (see Figure 3-1) opens automatically after you log on to the SVP. The
Identity tab is the default view.
NOTE: Until you have installed at least one XP Remote Web Console option, the License Key pane opens.
Once you have installed an option, the XP Remote Web Console main pane opens.

3-1-1-1 Option Buttons (Common to All XP Remote Web Console Panes)
The Option buttons are displayed vertically on the left side of all of the XP Remote Web Console panes. Each
button launches the corresponding option. If you float the cursor over an icon, the name of the corresponding
option is displayed. Figure 3-2 shows the icons.
