Your video device cannot be operated
Auto index does not work normally.
• Unless the time code is recorded continuously on
the tape, the Auto index function does not work well.
The tape to be edited must be the one of which time
code is continuous.
The time code is recorded continuously on the tape
if recording is continued normally. But if a tape part
on which nothing is recorded is produced by
fast-forwarding, rewinding, or other operation, the
time code becomes discontinuous.
• If a once-recorded tape is overwritten, the time code
comes into a disparity at the boundary between
newly recorded video and previously recorded video,
which may terminate the Auto index function.
• Sometimes, the Auto index does not work in the
vicinity of the leading edge of a tape.
• Even if the time code is continuous, the Auto index
may exit halfway.
You can resume the Auto index by clicking the Auto
index button again to execute the detection from the
current position.
