Indicator light Color Indicates
Ethernet link status (front panel) Green The cable is connected and the
link is good (the Xserve can
send and receive). The lower
light is for port 1, the upper for
port 2.
Ethernet link status (on rear
connector) Green The link is good (the Xserve can
send and receive).
Ethernet activity (on rear
connector) Blue intermittent The link is active. The light is on
while data is being transferred.
