Sill Pan Installation Instructions
Dry fit the pan in the rough opening
making sure you have at least 2” of overlap at each
joint. Check the center sections(s)for proper length and trim as
needed. On the sub-floor, where the sill pan will be positioned, apply 3 very large beads of
Elastomeric or Polyurethane sealant across the entire width of the opening. Place end pieces
tightly against the sides of the rough opening. Liberally coat the underside of the center section
where it overlaps the end pieces and the recessed areas of the end pieces with the provided
. Hold pieces together long enough to ensure a good bond.
To prevent air infiltration, run a small
bead of sealant along the lower interior edge of the pan. Install door unit into pan.
Install door unit into sill pan.
Keep in mind that
the colder temperatures require longer bonding times.
Do not apply
sealant to the bottom of sill when using a sill pan.

For large rough openings, the center section
may be in multiple pieces which overlap to form a
continuous pan. Dry fit the pan in the rough opening
making sure you have at least 2” of overlap at each joint. Check the
center section(s) for proper length and trim as needed. On the
sub-floor, where the sill pan will be positioned, apply 3 very large beads of
Elastomeric or Polyurethane sealant across the entire width of the opening. Place
end pieces tightly against the sides of the rough opening. Liberally coat the overlapped
areas and the recessed areas of the end pieces with the provided

Ajuste el revestimiento en seco en la abertura
sin terminar, asegurándose de dejar al mneos 5,07
cm de superposición en cada unión. Comprube que la o
las secciones centrales tenga el largo adecuado y, de ser necesario,
córtelas. En el subsuelo, en el lingae en donde se colocará el revestimiento, aplique 3 cordones muy
anchos de sellador elastomérico o de poliurethano a lo largo de todo el ancho de la abertura. Coloque las
piezas extremos muy pegados contra los lados de la abertura sin terminar. Cubra generosamente y
con el incluido el lado inferior de la pieza central, en ligar en donde se
superpongan las piezas de los extremos y las áreas de ranuras de las piezas extremos. Mantenga juntas
el tiempo suficente para asegurar la formación de una buena adhesíon. Recuerde que las temperaturas
bajas requieren mayores tiempos de adhesíon. Para evitar la filtracion de aire, extienda un cordón
de masilla de calafateo pequeño a lo largo del borde interior inferior del revestimiento. Instale la puerta
en el revestimiento. No calafatee la parte inferior del alféizar si utiliza este revestimiento para alféizar.

Para aberturas sim terminar grandes, la sección central
puede formarse de varias piezas que se superponen para
formar un revestimiento continuo. Ajuste el revestimiento en
seco en la abertura sin terminar, asegurándose de dejar al menos
5,08 cm de superposicion en cada unión. Compriebe que la o las
secciones centrales tenga el largo adecuado y, de ser necesario, cortelas.
En el subsuelo, en el lugar en donde se colocará el revestimiento, aplique 3 cordones
muy anchos de sellador elastomérico o de poliuretano a lo largo de todo el ancho de la
abertura. Coloque las piezas de los extremos muy pegados contra lo lados de la abertura
sin terminar. Cubra generosamente las áreas superpuestas y las areas con ranuras de las piwezas de
los extremos con el incluido. Mantenga juntas las piezas el tiempo
suficiente para asegurar la formacion de una buena adhesión. Para evitar la filtración de aire, extienda
un cordon de masilla de calafateo pequeño a lo largo del borde interior inferior del revestimiento. No
calafatee la parte inferior del alféizer si utiliza este reservestimiento para alféizar.
