Jumpers and Connectors
Jumper Setting Description
PWRD_EN Pins 2 and 4
(default) The password feature is enabled.
Pins 4 and 6 The password feature is disabled and
iDRAC6 local access is unlocked at the next
AC power cycle.
NVRAM_CLR Pins 3 and 5
(default) The configuration settings are retained at
system boot.
Pins 1 and 3 The configuration settings are cleared at
the next system boot. If the configuration
settings become corrupted to the point
where the system will not boot, install the
jumper and boot the system. Remove the
jumper before restoring the configuration
information.
