6. Change your password
6.1 When do you need to enter a password?
You only need to enter a password if you see a login window when you start Welch Allyn
CardioPerfect Workstation. The login window looks like this:
6.2 When do you need to change your password?
How often you change your password is usually left up to you. However, there is one
situation in which it is recommended that you change it. That is when the system
administrator has just created your Welch Allyn CardioPerfect Workstation user account.
Usually, at this time your password is identical to your user name, and therefore easy to
guess. At this point, it is advisable to change your password.
6.3 Change your password
To change your password:
1. In the File menu, click on Change password….
2. Enter your old password.
3. Enter your new password.
4. Re-enter your new password for verification.
5. Click OK. Your new password is immediately activated.
