When the Deck 2 Pause and Record Buttons are pressed,
tape editing starts by pressing the Deck 1 Playback Button.
•Deck 1 has the Direction Memory Function.
Before editing, make sure the tape direction by pressing
the Deck 1 Piayback Button. Press the Direction Button to
turn the tape direction of Deck 1.
1. insert the piayback tape into Deck 1 and the editing tape
into Deck 2,
2. Set the Function Selector to “TAPE/fo^”.
3. Set the Editing Mode Selector to the desired position.
“NORMAL" .. normai speed
"HIGH" ............ high speed
4. Press the Deck 2 Pause Button, then press the Record
Button.
5. Press the Deck 1 Playback Button.
• Editing is started by means of the Synchro-Start
function.
6. To stop editing, press the Stop/Eject Buttons (Deck 1
and Deck 2).
Notes:
• Do not change the Editing Mode Selector during
editing. The piayback sound may flutter.
• Be sure to set the Function Selector to '‘TAPE/
I OFF!" during editing. Do no change the selector to
any other position.
•Some TV sets generate noise that could be
recorded during editing.
To prevent the possibility of this do not use this unit
closer than 1.5 m to a TV set.

•When using the headphones, avoid listening to sound at
excessive volume levels, because it may injure your ears.
•Speakers are automatically cut off when the headphones
are connected.
