Installing on a Pipe (FU-95 Series)
■
FU-95S
Installing
1
Two cable ties and some nonslip rubber tubes are included. Cut the nonslip rubber
tubes to the appropriate length.
2
With both locks on the sensor pushed in, install to a pipe as shown in the figures below.
Make sure that the cable tie faces the correct direction and that it passes through the
correct position.
3
Install a second cable tie in the same manner through the bottom and tighten both ties
securely. Finally, cut off the excess.
Adjusting position after installation
Be sure to use cable ties for installation.
■
FU-95(Z/HA)
There are two methods for installation with FU-95(Z/HA).
Directly installing to a pipe
1
Two cable ties and some nonslip rubber tubes are included. Cut the nonslip rubber
tubes to the appropriate length.
2
While making sure to keep the cable ties facing the correct direction, install to a pipe as
shown in the figures below.
Be sure to use cable ties for installation.
Installing with the mounting holes
1
As shown in the figure, use the included spacer to install snugly against a pipe.
* Use a maximum torque of 0.5 Nm to tighten the screws.
■
FU-95W
Obtain two cable ties
*
and two nonslip rubber tubes of appropriate length.
* Make sure that the width of the cable ties is no more than 5 mm so that the cable ties can pass
through the mounting holes on the sensor.
An installation kit is also available as an option.
Installing
1
Wrap the cable tie around the pipe in the correct direction as shown in the figure.
Cut the nonslip rubber tubes into an appropriate length.
2
Install a second cable tie in the same manner through the bottom and tighten both ties
securely. Finally, cut off the excess.
• Be sure to use cable ties for installation.
• When the FU-95W is installed on a pipe with a small diameter,
if there is an object moving outside of the pipe as shown in the
figure, the receiving light intensity of the sensor may fluctuate
(especially when there is liquid in the pipe).
In such a case, place a barrier plate
(matte black recommended) between the pipe and the moving
object.
