4 Configure Business Interaction Server.
5 Using Kofax Template Designer, create categories and templates based on
Ascent Capture batch classes and document classes.
6 Configure Ascent Capture Add-ins for Kofax Business Interaction Server by
doing the following:
a Assign the Business Interaction Server 1.0 release script to an Ascent
Capture document class.

Configure Business Interaction Server general, validation, and release
parameters.
7 If you want to send customer notifications, configure Ascent Xtrata Pro
Validation forms to send customer notifications and synchronize the related
classes with Ascent Capture.
8 For operators, publish and process the associated batch by doing one of the
following:

If there is no missing information on the customer document, process it
through the Ascent Capture Release module as a customer confirmation.
„
If there is missing information on the customer document, send a
customer notification from within the Ascent Xtrata Pro Validation
module.
The first five steps are described in their respective documentation (for specific
references, see Introduction on page v). Steps six through eight are discussed in the
remainder of this guide.
Assigning the Business Interaction Server 1.0 Release Script
To connect Ascent Capture with Business Interaction Server, you must assign the
Business Interaction Server 1.0 release script to the document class that is associated
with the customer confirmation or notification that you want to send.
