Messages”, the TC-540 will automatically save
all messages.

Messages will be saved within 7 seconds after
you hear the last message. The TC-540 will
automatically reset to answer new calls, after
saving messages.

CALL SCREENING
When the phone
rings, the TC-540 will
answer the call. You
may use the handset
to screen your phone
calls.

Be sure a MESSAGE INDICATOR
on the base unit is on.
2 Press SCREEN/PLAY to listen from
the cordless handset. You will hear the
TC-540 play your outgoing message and
your caller leave a message.

To speak to the caller, press TALK . The
unit will stop recording. NOTE: DO NOT press
ON/OFF on the base unit as you may disconnect your
caller.
4
To hang up, press TALK or return the
handset to the base unit.
