Cycles and options (Models WU5650V and WU6850V)

Pots & Pans cycle

This cycle supplies maximum cleaning
for cooked-on or baked-on foods. A timer
delays the cycle while the dishwasher
automatically heats the water to 145°F
(65°C) in both washes and the last rinse
(marked *). Cycle time depends on time
needed to heat water.

Push the POTS & PANS Cycle Selector

Button and select the mark next to POTS
& PANS with the Cycle Control Knob.
The cycle sequence will be:

Wash*->-Rinse->Wash*->Rinse->-Rinse*-+Dry

^Off

Heavy Wash cycle

A double wash for heavily soiled loads.
A timer delays the cycle while the
dishwasher automatically heats the
water to 145°F (65°C) in the main wash
and the last rinse (marked *). Cycle time
depends on time needed to heat water.

Push the NORMAL/HEAVY WASH

Cycle Selector Button and HI-TEMP

WASHING Option Selector Button. Select
the mark next to HEAVY WASH with the

Cycle Control Knob. The cycle sequence
will be:

Wash->Rinse->-Wash* ►Rinse->-Rmse*->Dry

Normal Wash cycle

A double wash for normal, everyday
loads. (The Energy Guide Label data is
based on this cycle.)

Push the NORMAL/HEAVY WASH

Cycle Selector Button and select the
mark next to NORMAL WASH with the
Cycle Control Knob. The cycle sequence
will be:

Wash->Rinse^Wash-^Rinse »Rinse »-Dry

^Off

Light Wash cycle

For pre-rinsed or lightly soiled loads.

Push the LIGHT WASH Cycle Selector

Button and select the mark next to
LIGHT WASH with the Cycle Control
Knob. The cycle sequence will be:

Rinse-» Wash-»Rinse-»Rinse-»Dry-»Off

Energy Saver Wash cycle

For pre-rinsed or lightly soiled loads. This
cycle uses less heated water than other
wash cycles.

Push the ENERGY SAVER WASH

Cycle Selector Button and select the mark
next to ENERGY SAVER WASH with the
Cycle Control Knob. The cycle sequence

wiU be:
Wash »Rinse-»Rinse^Dry-» Off

China Crystal cycle
(Model WU6850V only)

A light wash and gentle dry for china and
crystal. The heating element cycles on

and off during the “dry" part of the cycle
(unless the Energy Saver Dry option is
selected).

Push the CHINA CRYSTAL Cycle

Selector Button and select the mark next

to CHINA CRYSTAL with the Cycle

Control Knob. The cycle sequence will
be:

Wash-»Rinse-»Rinse-»Dry-»Off

Rinse & Hold cycle

For rinsing a few items to be washed one
or more days later.

Select the mark next to RINSE &

HOLD with the Cycle Control Knob and,
for Model WU6850V only, push the RINSE
& HOLD Cycle Selector Button. Push the
ENERGY SAVER DRY Option Selector
Button. Using the Heat Dry option may
cause food to bake on dishes. The cycle
sequence will be:

Rinse-»Rinse-»Off

Energy Saver Dry option

Air in the dishwasher is automatically
heated during the "dry" part of all cycles.

If the ENERGY SAVER DRY Option

Selector Button is pushed, air in the
dishwasher is not heated. Using this
option helps save energy, but dishes take
longer to dry (overnight) and some water
spotting may result. Some items (such as
plastics) may need towel drying.

For best results, use a liquid rinse aid.

Hi-Temp Washing option

When the HI-TEMP WASHING Option
Selector Button is pushed, water for the
main wash and the final rinse is heated
to 145°F (63°C). If the water is already hot
enough, the cycle continues without
delay. For model WU6850V, the WATER
HEATING HOLD signal light will be on
while the cycle delays for water heating.

The Hi-Temp Washing option is

automatic in POTS & PANS cycle.

Using DELAY HOURS

1. Push desired Cycle Selector Button.

2. Push desired Option Selector

Buttons.

3. Turn Cycle Control Knob clockwise

to the number of hours you want the
dishwasher to delay before the

selected cycle starts.

4. Close and latch the door. For model

WU6850V, the DELAY WASH signal
light will come on and stay on untO
the cycle starts.

NOTE:

■ You can add items while time is

counting down. Close and latch the
door. The timer will not advance if
the door is unlatched.

■ Rinse & Hold and Low Energy Wash

cycles can't be delayed.

The CLEAN signal light

The CLEAN signal light will come on
when a washing cycle is complete.

To turn light off, turn the Cycle Control

Knob clockwise slightly until the light
goes off.
