Most users will see an “AutoPlay” dialog box - if so,
double click “Install CLEAR Connection Manager”
and follow the onscreen instructions to complete
the installation.
NOTE: If the “AutoPlay” dialog box does not
appear, select the “Windows Start” menu and then
select “Computer” (or select the “Computer” icon
on your desktop.)

“Win” folder
• Double click “Setup.exe”
and follow the onscreen
instructions to complete the installation

Insert the CLEAR 4G+ Mobile USB (Mobile USB)
into an available USB port on your computer.
For most users, the CLEAR Connection Manager
will begin to install automatically—follow the
onscreen instructions and read/accept the CLEAR
Terms of Service.
INSTALLATION FOR WINDOWS ® XP
• If the installation does not start automatically,
go to “My Computer”
and double click the
“CLEAR logo”
• Double click the
“Win” folder
• Double click “Setup.exe”
and follow the onscreen
instructions to complete the installation
INSTALLATION FOR MAC ® 0S X
(LEOPARD ® 10.5 OR SNOW LEOPARD ® 10.6)
In the finder window that appears, double click
“Install CLEAR Connection Manager.mpkg” and
follow the onscreen instructions.
Now that you’ve installed the CLEAR Connection
Manager, it’s time to activate the Mobile USB.
• It’s easy to activate the Mobile USB,
whether you’re in 4G or 3G coverage.
• You’ll know your Mobile USB is
activated when you see the 4G
or 3G LED light illuminate blue.
• The Mobile USB automatically
switches from 4G to 3G when
you’re out of 4G coverage.*
