This machine has been designed for domestic
use.
• This machine should never be plugged in while
NOT in use. Always unplug the machine from
the electric outlet before cleaning or after
using it.
• Before switching on the machine, make sure
that the electric voltage of the socket outlet is
the same as the rated voltage.
• Use this machine only for its intended use as described
in this Instruction Book. Use only attachments
specifically recommended forthe machine.
• Disconnect the power-line plug from the sockét outlet
or switch the machine offwhen making any adjustments
in the needle area, such as threading a needle, changing
a needle, changing the needle plate, changing presser
footor removing bobbin case, etc.

• Always unplug the machine from the electrical outlet
before removing covers, lubricating or when making
any other adjustments mentioned in this Instruction
Book.
Do not attempt to adjust the motor belt. Contact your
nearest authorized SINGER Service Center should any
adjustment be required.
When sewing, keep fingers away from all moving parts.
Special care is required to avoid accidents with needle while
in movement.
Do not pull or push fabricfirmly while stitching. It may deflect
the needle causing itto break.
Never operate the machine with any air openings blocked.
Keep ventilation openings of the machine and foot control
pedalfreefromtheaccumulation of lint and dust.
Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being
usedorwhere oxygen is being administered.
The appliance is not intended for use by young children or
infirm persons withoutsupervision.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in orderto avoid a hazard.
