PCIPnP
This section is used to configure settings for PCI/PnP devices.
Setting incorrect field values may cause the system to malfunc-
tion.
Plug & Play O/S
Yes Configures Plug and Play (PnP) devices that are not required to boot in
a Plug and Play supported operating system.
No The BIOS configures all the devices in the system.
NO: let the BIOS
configure all the
devices in the system.
YES: lets the
operating system
configure Plug and
Play (PnP) devices not
required for boot if
your system has a Plug
and Play operating
system.

PCI Latency Timer
This feature is used to select the length of time each PCI device will con-
trol the bus before another takes over. The larger the value, the longer
the PCI device can retain control of the bus. Since each access to the
bus comes with an initial delay before any transaction can be made, low
values for the PCI Latency Timer will reduce the effectiveness of the PCI
bandwidth while higher values will improve it.

Available The specified IRQ is available for PCI/PnP devices.
Reserved The specified IRQ is reserved for Legacy ISA devices.
