Action responses state both the outcome of the action, and the nearest
address location of the vehicle. Example: "Your Locate action was
successful. Your vehicle is located at 1212 Main Street West, Chicago,
Illinois, USA”.
Alerts
AUTOMATE
®
Automated Alerts are automatic notifications of events, circum-
stances and conditions, which are constantly monitored and reported by
AUTOMATE
®
equipped vehicles. Alerts are automatically forwarded to your
contact points in virtual real-time. You can receive Alerts via email, phone
(voice), pager and a personal digital assistant (PDA). Go to Notification Setup
to learn how to direct your alerts.
Security System Trigger:
(Early Theft Warning):
Obtain early indication of a possible vehicle theft by knowing
when your car alarm is triggered and receive the location of the
violation.
Unauthorized Movement:
(Early Theft Warning):
Automatically know when your vehicle has moved while the
ignition is turned off (i.e., when being towed or when the ignition
is ON but the vehicle’s security system is armed) and receive the
location of the violation.
