Types of Card Formats

There are 11 types of card formats you can use with CFN Systems:

• Standard format - single or dual card
• Service format
• Code card format
• Supervisor format
• Manual entry format - Site Controller I only
• Fuel delivery format
• Dipstick format - Site Controller II/III only
• Totalizer format - Site Controller II/III only
• Fueler ID format - Site Controller II/III only
• Fuel Point card - Site Controller II/III only
• Access card - Site Controller II/III only

The remainder of this section describes each of these formats.

Note: The field names and sizes in this section may differ from those on your customized card

layout.

The fields it contains will be determined at the time of your order or when you choose your
configuration options. Ensure that you follow the customized layout when encoding your
cards.

Site Controller II/III Software Compatibility

Several card types defined in this manual will not work with all versions of the Site Controller
II/III software. If you are using Site Controller II or III, the software must be provided with the
Fleet package to be able to accept fuel delivery cards, supervisor cards, dipstick cards, totalizer
cards, fueler ID cards, and code cards. To accept access cards, the Site Controller II or III
software must be provided with the Attendant Card Handler. To determine if Site Controller II
or III has the Fleet package or Attendant Card Handler software, sign on to the command
terminal and give a STATUS V command. Verify if the word “fleet” and/or “Attendant”
appears in the printout. If it does not, contact your Gasboy representative.
