Attaching/detaching accessories
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Always remove the plug from the mains power socket before you attach/ ►
detach an accessory.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down before you attach/detach an
►
accessory.
Wait until all of the steam has drained away before you attach/detach an
►
accessory.
Place the attachment slightly off set on the steam nozzle 1) q, so that the small
retainers grip into the rails inside the accessory.
Turn the attachment so that it sits fi rmly on the steam nozzle 2) q.
To remove the accessory, turn it so far that you can lift it away from the 3)
steam nozzle q.
Child protection system
This appliance is equipped with a child protection system.
To activate the child protection system, slide the "Child Safety" switch ■ 2 up-
wards to the symbol . The steam lever 1 can now no longer be pressed
down.
To deactivate the child protection system, slide the "Child Safety" switch ■ 2
downwards to the symbol . The steam lever 1 can now be activated
again.
