Disposing of batteries
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not
be disposed of with domestic waste!
Each consumer is legally obliged to dispose
of batteries and rechargeable batteries at a
collection point of the municipality, town district
or retailer.
This ensures that all batteries and rechargeable
batteries are disposed of in an environmentally
friendly way.
Batteries and rechargeable
batteries that con-tain harmful
substances bear this mark
and the chemical symbols
(Cd for cadmium, Hg for
mercury, Pb for lead).
