3. OPERATION OF CONTROL UNIT FC 715

The device allows the speed of the fan which is under the user's control

by means of the radio remote control, to be regulated in one of two

modes:

MANUAL

The fan (5) runs at the selected speed independently

of the Sensor.

AUTOMATIC The fan (5) runs at the selected speed with the

permission of the sensor.

3.1. RADIO REMOTE CONTROL

The radio remote control has 4 push buttons that can be used to carry

out the following operations

• On/off (blue key)
• Change operating mode from manual to automatic and vice

versa (red key)

• Variation of the 4 speeds of the fan (yellow keys)

3.1.1. Turning on and off

TURNING ON: Press and hold the blue ON/OFF button of the radio

remote control to turn the fan on at the first speed

in MANUAL mode. The control unit emits a short

beep that identifies 1

speed in manual mode.

TURNING OFF: Press and hold the blue ON/OFF button of the radio

remote control to place the device in STAND-BY

mode, which is signalled by a very long beep, and

shut down the fan.

3.2. MANUAL MODE

By default, when turned on using the ON/OFF button, or simply by

clicking the red MAN/AUT button, the system goes into MANUAL mode.

This mode can be recognized by the fact that all of the sound

signals emitted by the control unit in this status are short

beeps and the fan is always on regardless of the temperature.
The yellow + and - buttons are used to increase/decrease the speed of

the fan from 1

number of short beeps that corresponds to the selected speed:

3
