Step 3: Boot the Terminal
Windows CE
The terminal begins booting as soon as power is applied and runs by itself. Do
NOT press any keys or interrupt the boot process.
When the boot process is complete, the Desktop appears and the terminal is
ready for use.
Windows Mobile
The terminal begins booting as soon as power is applied and runs by itself. Do
NOT press any keys or interrupt the boot process. Only tap the screen when
prompted.
When the boot process is complete, the Today screen appears and the terminal
is ready for use.
Resetting the Device
Soft Reset:
Press and hold Red
+ ESC
for approximately 5
seconds.
Hard Reset: Press and hold Red
+ TAB
for approximately 5
seconds.
