Regulatory model identification number
For regulatory identification purposes, your product is assigned a Regulatory model number. This
Regulatory model number should not be confused with the Product name or Product number. This HP
package may contain one or more of the following products:
• Product name (HP Photosmart M730 series Digital Camera); Product number (L2478A, L2479A,
L2480A, L2481A, L2482A, L2483A): The Regulatory model number for your product is FCLSD-0701.
• Product name (HP Photosmart M430/M530 series Digital Cameras); Product numbers (L2442A,
L2443A, L2444A, L2445A, L2446A, L2447A, L2448A, L2449A, L2450A, L2451A, L2452A, L2453A):
The Regulatory model number for your product is SNPRB-0701.
• Product name (HP Photosmart M440 series Digital Camera); Product number (L2501A, L2502A,
L2503A, L2504A, L2505A, L2506A); The Regulatory model number for your product is SNPRB-0704.
• Product name (HP Photosmart M540 series Digital Camera); Product number (L2460A, L2461A,
L2462A, L2463A, L2464A, L2465A); The Regulatory model number for your product is SNPRB-0704.
• Product name (HP Photosmart M630 series Digital Camera); Product number (L2454A, L2455A,
L2456A, L2457A, L2458A, L2459A); The Regulatory model number for your product is SNPRB-0705.
• Product name (HP Photosmart Mz60 series Digital Camera); Product number (L2489A, L2490A,
L2491A, L2492A, L2493A, L2494A); The Regulatory model number for your product is SNPRB-0703.

Safety precautions
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not open the camera case or attempt to repair the camera
yourself. Contact an authorized HP Service Center for repairs.
• Keep the camera dry. Exposing the camera to excessive moisture can cause it to malfunction.
• If moisture gets inside the camera, stop using the camera immediately. Allow the camera to air dry
completely before operating it again.
• When disposing of batteries, follow the battery manufacturer’s disposal and recycling instructions or
the guidelines that are recommended for your area, do not incinerate or puncture batteries.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Use only a dock or wireless dock base approved by HP for your camera. Use of a non-approved dock
could damage the camera or cause an unsafe condition. It will also void your camera’s warranty.
Caution: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according
to the instructions.
