Footswitch Modes

Loop FX Mode

When you step on the D footswitch, the JM4’s LCD will display Loop FX Mode. This is

the first of 4 alternate footswitch modes, and if you don’t hit the D footswitch again within

1.5 seconds, Loop FX Mode will remain active. Here are the controls for Loop FX Mode:

No Function –

this switch has no function in Loop FX Mode.

No Function –

this switch has no function in Loop FX Mode.

1/2 Speed –

this switch toggles half speed playback on and off.

Exit –

hit this switch to exit Loop FX Mode & return to Jam Control Mode.

Record Select Mode

After you enter Loop FX Mode, as described above, if you step on the D footswitch a

second time within 1.5 seconds, the JM4 will toggle to Record Select Mode. This enables

you to load any of your Recordings and toggle Recording Input Select, as follows:

Next Recording –

this switch selects the next Recording in your Recording list.

Previous Recording –

this selects the previous Recording in your list.

Input Select –

toggles between Guitar or Mic/Aux for your recording input.

Exit –

hit this switch to exit Record Select Mode & return to Jam Control Mode.
