Mode dial
Sets the ViviCam 8300s mode

Shutter button
Focuses and locks both focus & exposure when
pressed halfway down. Captures the image when
pressed all the way down.

Power indicator
Lights on when the ViviCam 8300s power is turned on.

Turns the ViviCam 8300s power on and off.

Flash
Provides flash illumination.

Viewfinder window
Allows you to frame the subject of the image.

Self-timer LED
Blinks green during Self-timer mode until the image
