Manually initiating synchronization
Once you have set up ActiveSync and completed the first synchronization
process, you can initiate synchronization from your device at any time.
To manually initiate synchronization:
1. Tap
, Programs, then tap the ActiveSync icon to display the
ActiveSync screen.
2. To start synchronization, connect your device to your computer, then
tap Sync.
To end synchronization, tap Stop.
NOTE
To synchronize via IR (infrared port) or to change
synchronization settings, stop synchronization with your
computer.
For more information on synchronization:
Tap
while in the ActiveSync screen, then tap Help.
