IMPORTANT

FAILURE TO OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS MAY CAUSE
PREMATURE BATTERY FAILURE. THIS TYPE BATTERY FAILURE IS NOT
COVERED BY THE WARRANTY AND WILL NOT OCCUR IF THESE PRE-
CAUTIONS ARE OBSERVED.

The battery pack should be recharged immediately after the lectern is used. The
lectern power should be turned off during this recharging period. Charge the lectern
until the green charging LED goes completely out.

The battery pack in your equipment should be recharged for 16 hours at least once
every six months even though the unit is not used.

In many cases a battery that seems to be dead may be saved by prolonged charging
- up to ten days may be necessary.
