Application:
Organic vapours with boiling points greater than 65

°c.

Examples: Alcohols, Benzene, Carbon Tetrachloride, Chloroform, Glutaraldehyde, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK), Octane,
Phenol, Propanol, Styrene, Tetrachloromethane, Turpentine, White Spirit, Xylene.

Storage:
Store filters in a clean dry environment away from direct heat sources and sunlight in re-sealable pack provided. Retain
instructions for future reference.

Filters:
Ensure correct filter is selected for your application. Filters are fitted using a special bayonet connection – align the blip on
the bottom of the filter with the ‘1’ on the front of the mask, push the filter into the mask, supporting from the back, and
then twist the filter gently clockwise so that the blip points to the ‘2’ on the mask.

IMPORTANT:
Both filters must be changed at the same time. Replace vapour cartridges if you smell or taste any contaminants, or if you
feel unwell, try to ensure the filter is replaced before it is saturated.

Before use:
Ensure the respirator is clean and dry. Check carefully for damage to mask (faceseal, valves, straps). Check filter is fitted
correctly and is not damaged.

WARNING (All Respirators):

1. Failure to follow all instructions and limitations on the use of these products could reduce effectiveness of the

respirator and result in sickness or death.

2. A properly selected respirator is essential to protect your health. Before using these respirators, consult an Industrial

Hygienist or Occupational Safety Professional to determine the suitability for your intended use.

3. These products do not supply oxygen. Use only in adequately ventilated areas containing sufficient oxygen to

support life. Do not use these respirators when oxygen concentration is less than 19 %.

4. Do not use when concentrations of contaminants are immediately dangerous to health or life.
5. Do not use in explosive atmospheres.
6. Leave work area immediately and return to fresh air if (a) breathing becomes difficult, or (b) dizziness or other

distress occurs.

7. Facial hairs or beards and certain facial characteristics may reduce the effectiveness of this respirator.
8. Never alter or modify any respirator in any way.
9. Only for single use. No maintenance necessary. Discard the used respirator after single use.
10. Keep respirators in the display box away from direct sunlight until use.

OEL = Occupational Exposure Limit
TLV = Threshold Limit Value
APF = Assigned Protection Factor
NR = Limited to a single shift, of up to a maximum of 8 hours
