30 Maintenance
1. Disconnect AC power to the instrument.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the controller lid.
3. Remove the spent batteries and dispose of them properly.
4. Place the new C-cell alkaline batteries in the battery compartment so that
the positive side of the batteries are aligned with the positive battery
terminals and the negative side of the batteries are aligned with the
negative battery terminals (Figure 23).
5. Replace the controller lid and tighten screws.
6. Reconnect power to the device.

7.4 REPLACEMENT CLOCK BATTERY
1. Disconnect AC power to the instrument.
2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the controller lid.
3. Replace depleted clock battery as needed with 3 V MnO2-Li battery,
CR2032 or equivalent (Figure 23).
4. Dispose of spent battery properly.
5. Replace the controller lid and tighten screws.
6. Reconnect power to the device.
