23.1 Changing management processor credentials
Select the following menu item from the Insight Control user interface to change the user name and
passwords for
iLO -based management processors:
Configure
→Management Processor→Credentials
You can set these credentials at a global level for all managed system s or set them on an individual
basis.
If you want unique credentials on an LO100-based server, you must set them manually. The
Configure
→Management Processor→Credentials only sets these credentials locally.

Credentials” (page 198) .
IMPORTANT: Do not use multi-byte characters or the following characters in the user name and
password for iLO user accounts:
` (back quote) & (ampersand)
$ (dollar sign) < (left angle bracket)
" (double quote) > (right angle bracket)
% (percent sign) @ (at sign)
23.2 Changing the default port for the repository web server
By default, the repository web server is configured to provide files on TCP port 60000.
NOTE: The default port for the repository web server is hard coded in the VMware ESX Kickstart
template files. If you want to change the port, you must manually replace all occurrences of 60000
with the new port number before performing the VMware ESX installation.
To change the default port, follow these steps:
