Mount points

A mount point is the location in a server's file system at which a storage volume (virtual disk) is
attached.

Mount point persistence on Linux servers

Mount points which are established by P6000 SmartStart are not persistent across server reboots.
To persist a mount point, you must update the fstab file, then verify and mount the device. For the

Physical disk drive capacity

HP P6000 Command View uses the following capacity-related terms for physical disk drives.
Capacity measures of MB, GB and TB are binary values. See

Formatted capacity. The capacity of the physical disk drive after being formatted for use in
the HP P6000 storage system.

Occupancy. The amount of space on the physical disk drive that contains user data and storage
system metadata.
