Set the lens aperture.
Turn the lens aperture ring
until the desired f/number is oppo
site the index mark on the lens. The
selected f/number appears in the
viewfinder for convenient reference.

The meter reads the light over the entire
focusing screen but is distinctly biased toward
the central 12mm<j> area.
