4.2 Power Supply
4.2.1 Typical Supply Voltage : 8-32 VDC
4.2.2 Protection: The OCI Modules are protected for the following adverse conditions
and can withstand these conditions without any permanent damage to the
module.
4.2.2.1
Reverse polarity: The VBat and Ground terminals can be swapped
without the possibility of permanent module damage.
4.2.2.2 Short Circuit: Any Input or Output from the Module can be shorted to
VBat or Ground without the possibility of permanent module damage.
4.2.2.3 Over voltage: The module is able to withstand Transient Voltage
levels per IEC specification 61000-4-5:1995
