6 COMPLETE ASSEMBLY
Objective: Complete final assembly.

› Ensure thermal valve is oriented with the cold water
inlet on the right and the hot water inlet on the left.
› Install the stop ring by aligning the large spine with
the large spine on the thermal cartridge in the 12
o'clock position. Press in place firmly so the flange
on the stop ring is in contact with the machined
threads on the thermal body.

› Install two limit stops by aligning spines and sliding
onto the temperature control rod. Position the first
one in the 11 o'clock position and the second in the
1 o'clock position.

› Install temperature statement tag over the limit
stops.

› Wrap warning labels (TO AVOID VALVE DAMAGE
MAKE SURE SOLDER JOINT IS AT LEAST 3"
FROM EACH END VALVE) around hot (H) and cold
(C) check stops.

› Install valve rough-in-shield by ensuring shield is
oriented with the flange to the north position and
placing over the top of thermal valve cartridge.
Secure in place with set screw.
