7.2 Ethernet Manager

The Ethernet Manager provides controls for

your router‘s Ethernet ports. There are five

total ports: one blue WAN port and four

numbered yellow LAN ports. While default

settings will be sufficient in most

circumstances, you have the ability to

control:

Link Speed, MAC addresses, and

Connect Method for the WAN port and Link

Speed for the LAN ports.

7.2.1

Mode

WAN or LAN. The blue port is WAN (Wide Area Network) and the four yellow ports are LAN.

WAN (Wide Area Network) is used to connect to another network such as a hotel or office wired network. The

WAN connection is used as a possible source of internet for the MBR95.

LAN (Local Area Network) is for connecting a computer or similar device directly to the router with an Ethernet

cable.

7.2.2

Link Speed

Default setting is Auto. The Auto setting is preferred in

most cases.

10Mbps - Half Duplex

10Mbps - Full Duplex

100Mbps - Half Duplex

100Mbps - Full Duplex
