13 TROUBLE SHOOTING

PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

SOLUTION

The electric motor is
running but the pump
does not suck water

1. After the pump starts, the pump
body does not fill with water

1. Fill the pump with water

2. Insufficient tightness of the
suction hose

2. Check the recommended and
used pans and components of the
pump, e.g. joint of the suction
nose, joint of the pressure hose,
clamping ring, suction hose, etc.,
including screw sealing strip made
from Teflon or hemp cord. The
pump can work only when well
sealed

3. The filter screen of the bottom
valve of the sucking inlet is
blocked

3. Clean the bottom valve of the
sucking inlet and the filter screen

4. The air can't be released from
the pressure hose because the
water outlet is closed

4. When the pump starts sucking,
open the water outlet (e.g. the tap.
sprinkling nozzle etc.)

5. The waiting time does not
correspond to the regulations

5. Fill the whole suction hose with
water, or recheck it at least 7
minutes after the pump starts

6. Excessive suction head (>8m)

6. Reduce the suction head

7. The bottom valve fails to suck
water

7. Check the water level of the well
or the water pool. If possible,
increase the length of the suction
hose.

The electromotor
cannot run

1. No power supplied

1. Check the power supply

2. The ventilator hood obscures
rotation of the vane

2. Pull out the power plug, remove
the

ventilator

hood

with

a

screwdriver, then reinstall it again
by slightly rotating the vane and
check to see if it rotates freely

3. Fan blocked

3. Pull out the power plug, move
the shaft with the screwdriver
through the ventilator hood. If the
shaft is blocked, send it to a
service center for inspection

Insufficient water flow-
out

1. Excessive suction head (>8m)

1. Check the suction head

2. The filter screen of the bottom
valve is blocked

2. Clean the filter screen

3. The suction water level lowered
too much

3. Immerse the bottom valve in
deep water

4. Impurities have reduced the
effective capacity of the pump

4. Wash the shell of the pump, the
suction hose and the outlet
pressure hose with pressurized
water
