* When the PureRead function is turned on, priority is given to reading accuracy,

and the maximum playback speed of CD audio and CD ROM is set to 40x. The

PureRead function is turned on as a default setting. This function can be configured

using the supported Pioneer BD Drive Utility.

support these formats. Please consult with the respective product manufacturer

regarding compatibility.

To perform high-speed writing, please use media that supports high-speed

recording and writing. Refer to the Pioneer website for details.

Dual Disc playback

The Dual Disc format can record DVD-standard video and audio on one side,

and audio that can be played by a CD player on the other.

— When inserting a Dual Disc into a playback device or removing it from the

device, the surface opposite to the playback side may be scratched. Problems

may occur when playing the scratched side.
