LIQUID GOLD™ 148
1 oz Mild Acid Fountain Concentrate for Newspapers
Description: A highly concentrated mild acid fountain solution for use in the coldset and
newspaper market. LIQUID GOLD 148 is designed to be used on presses equipped
with brush, sock, or spray dampening systems. This product allows for more stable
ink and water settings. LIQUID GOLD 148 is specifically designed to produce cleaner,
sharper print quality with fewer toning and emulsification issues.
Directions for Use: Mix 1 oz/gallon of LIQUID GOLD 148 to each gallon of water. Increase dosage if
plate sensitivity is occurring. Decrease dosage if ink emulsification or roller stripping
is a problem. The conductivity will increase by 1350 micromhos/cm over the water’s
conductivity for each oz/gallon of LIQUID GOLD 148.
