Dial, delete or edit directory entries
To dial, delete or edit a directory entry (name and number), the entry must
be displayed on the screen. Use
Review the directory (page 52) or
�earch by name (page 53) to show an entry.
Display dial
To dial a displayed number from the directory, press
�HONE/
FLA�H
or
/��EA�ER ��EA�ER on the handset, or /��EA�ER ��EA�ER on the telephone base.
Delete a directory entry
Using a cordless handset:
To delete the displayed directory entry, press
MUTE
/DELETE.
Press
MENU
/�ELECT to confirm. You cannot retrieve a
deleted entry.
Using the telephone base:
To delete the displayed directory entry, press
X/DELETE.
Press
MENU
/�ELECT to confirm. You cannot retrieve a
deleted entry.
