Testing Battery Bays
In the
SurePower Charger Station
, the four battery bays work independently of each other, and
you can test bays individually to determine if a specific bay is working correctly.
Warning! Test the charger’s battery bays on a regular basis. Neglecting these tests may result in
using a charger that is not fully functional and, as such, not capable of maintaining a
sufficient number of fully charged batteries to operate all of your ZOLL defibrillators
effectively.
To test a battery bay, follow this procedure:
Step Action
1. Remove the battery from the bay.
2. Press the Test Button on the battery bay’s control panel.
The charger lights all four LEDs, operates the fan, and beeps for several seconds.
If the LEDs go out and the beep stops, the battery bay is fully functional and
without defects.
If the Fault LED remains lit, the battery bay is defective.
