• Intrinsically safe ratings are as follows:
Maximum Input Voltage (Vmax/Ui) = 30 V
Maximum Input Current (Imax/Ii) = 200 mA
Maximum Input Power (Pmax/Pi) = 0.9 W
Maximum Internal Capacitance (Ci) = 10 nF
Maximum Internal Inductance (Li) = 0 µH
• Type "n" or Nonincendive ratings are as follows:

Note 3. Installation
• In any safety barreir used output current must
be limited by a resistor 'R' such that Io=Uo/R or
Isc=Voc/R.
• The safety barrier must be CSA certified.
• Input voltage of the safety barrier must be less
than 250 Vrms/Vdc.
• Installation should be in accordance with Canadian
Electrical Code Part I and Local Electrical Code.
• Dust-tight conduit seal must be used when
installed in Class II and III environments.
• The instrument modification or parts replacement
by other than authorized representative of
Yokogawa Electric Corporation and Yokogawa
Corporation of America is prohibited and will
void Canadian Standards Intrinsically safe and
nonincendive Certification.
