Set the port and SSL certificate settings

To modify the port and SSL certificate settings:
1.

The default port settings are displayed. You do not need to change the defaults unless the port
is already in use by another process. To modify a port, place your cursor in the field and type
a new port number. Make sure the port you specify is not already in use. Your changes are
saved when you click Next.

8888

This port is used to communicate with the Object Store when you
send a command for any operation. This port is used in an endpoint.

Proxy server port

5000

This port is used when you enter a command that communicates with
the Keystone server. This port is used in cURL commands as part of
the authentication URL.

Keystone server
public port

35357

Used for communication between the Keystone server and the Object
Store. For example, this port is used when creating a token for
authentication.

Keystone server
administrator port

If an SSL certificate is available, select an SSL certificate the Object Store will use. See

“Managing SSL certificates” (page 244)

for information on how to add SSL certificates.
