7.3.14 Enable an external illuminator
from the day/night camera output
The camera could be equipped with a day/night
clean contact output that can be used to enable an
external illuminator.
Connect the camera's day/night output to the CPU
board's J4 input.

The illuminator is activated via the closure of the
clean contact of a relay.
Relays do not have polarity and therefore both
terminals of the same relay can be swapped for
alternating or continuous current voltages.
Pass the relays cables through the entry device.
Remove the removable J5 (OUT_Day/Night) from the
CPU board and connect the relay cables.
Re-insert the wired connector into the board and
connect the cables with a cable tie.

Relays can be used for low working
voltages only (up to 30Vac or 60Vdc) and
with a maximum current of 1A. Use cables
with a section suitable for the load to be
controlled and use cables with a minimum
section of 0.25mm² (AWG 30) and maximum
section of 1.5mm² (AWG 16).
