Note AppleWorks sorts name fields (fields whose type is Name) by the last,
first, or other word in the field, depending on how you type the name. For
more information, see “Entering data in fields” on page 8-13.
To From the Sort pop-up menu, choose
Use a named sort The named sort
Change the sort order Edit Sort. Select a named sort from the list and click Modify.
Select a field, choose Ascending or Descending, and then
click OK.
Rename a named sort Edit Sort. Select a named sort from the list, and then click
Modify. Type a new name, and then click OK.
Delete a named sort Edit Sort. Select a named sort from the list, click Delete, and
then click OK.
