5.4.2.7 Function
ZeroCord : This function sets the coordinates of the
X, Y and Z axes to zero.
CentrMot : This function sets the motors to a mid
position. See section 5.2.5.
Before executing the function,
remove the probe holder and
capillary! Remove objects from the
travel range of the micromanipulator! Avoid
collisions!
If the function is nonetheless executed with a capillary present, make sure it is not
destroyed! Wear goggles as a precaution!
If you do not want to execute the function, press the "Menu" key. The current
function can be aborted by pressing the "Standby" key.
Selftest : This function triggers a self-test.
Before executing the function remove the probe holder and capillary!
Remove objects from the travel range of the micromanipulator!
Avoid collisions!
All motor axes are moved. In case of error an error message is delivered. If you do
not want to execute the function or want to stop it, press the "Menu" key.
MotorOff : This function switches off the motor currents. The motors can no longer be
operated. The tool may move to a preferred position.
UsrDeflt : This function resets the user parameters to defaults (User Default). If you do not
want to execute the function, press the "Menu" key.
In addition to the familiar speed setting (press and hold down "Speed" or "Limit" key) and
position storage key functions, there are also other special functions operated via the keypad.
5.5.1 General-Reset
The general reset resets the device to its delivery defaults. All the parameters, including the
installation parameters and the number of users, are reset to the defaults set at the factory.
Execution:
–
Switch device to Standby.
– Press "Standby" to switch device on again and then immediately press and release "Home"
key.
The device runs through a lengthy initialisation phase.
