Configure the Modules with RSLogix 5000 Software Chapter 7
Connection Tab Use the following information to make selections on the Connection tab.
Parameter Description
Requested Packet Interval Defines when the module multicasts its data onto the local chassis
backplane.
Inhibit Module Prevents connection to the module. Use only if you do not want the
module put into service.
Major Fault on Controller If
Connection Fails While in
Run Mode The Logix controller performs a major fault if communication to this
I/O module fails.
Use Unicast Connection over
EtherNet/IP Appears only for HART analog modules using RSLogix 5000 software
version 18 or later in a remote EtherNet/IP chassis.
Use the default checkbox if there are no other controllers in
’Listen-Only’ mode.
Clear the box if there are other ’listening’ controllers in the system.
